Richard's Story
Well with the limited number of characters available to type in here, can't cover the past 44 years! LOL Anyway, after graduation I attended Lamar University for 7 years and got 2 degrees, one in vocal music and the other in art. After that I worked in the oil industry for Ohmstede Machine Works in Beaumont because it paid more than teaching school.
I left Beaumont after the oil crunch in 1983 and moved to Houston where I got involved in sales and marketing. I have been a sales and marketing professional for the past 29 years.
My first marriage lasted 7 years then I took a 4 year break and then got married again...always seem to pick the wrong one LOL second marriage lasted 13 years. Presently have been divorced for 10 years. I have a son, Richard Earl von Eye II, a daughter Melony Elizabeth, and granddaughter Ellena. My son just turned 20 September this year, my daughter is 23, and grandd...Expand for more
aughter is 4. Currently I have been enjoying being single again. I have 2 dogs, a pit bull named Buster Brown and a wolf hybrid named Ansom.
Currently I work in merchant services (credit card, debit card, check processing for businesses) for the only Direct ISO of Chase Bank in North America, with clients in the automotive and medical market sectors. I am a regional program director for the National Association Program the company runs for various national medical associations. I guess as you can tell from the job I hold I'm in the banking industry and I just love all of those bank paid holidays (-:
One new development, I just re-launched my my boutique advertising agency, von Eye Media. It's what I plan on doing when I retire LOL. Going to use my years of experience in advertising as my way of replacing the retirement investment portfolio that got decimated in the recent Great Recession.
